For scouts
Search for what you are actually looking for
Filter by position, age, league, city and player profile – or search the clips directly for what happens in them. All the work happens in the app.

What scouts tell us
Three things keep coming up, and none of them is about judging players. They are about getting there.
You can be at one match at a time
Sweden has hundreds of youth and senior leagues. Even travelling every weekend of the season you see a fraction, and almost always the same geographical fraction.
Nobody has seen the ones worth finding
The players everyone is already talking about are already being watched by everyone else. The value sits with the one nobody has got to — and they rarely play where you happen to be standing.
A tip is not a case
Somebody you trust gives you a name. Then the work starts: find clips, establish what level it was against, and see whether it holds up over more than one match.
Step by step
How you work in Breakout
Create an account and get verified
You register in the app, pick the scout role and upload a document showing who you are – club ID, proof of employment or a letter of reference. A person here reviews it, and the account only opens once it is approved.
Search for players
Filter by position, age, nationality, club, league, city, foot, height, weight, strengths and weaknesses. Or use the video search for what actually happens in the clip.
Watch and follow over time
Add the player to your watchlist and write your own notes that only you can see. Scout Radar shows who is trending right now, what other scouts are looking at and what gets viewed most – filtered by division and position.
Rate and open a conversation
Rate across five areas, and send a contact request. If the player accepts, the conversation is open — contact details are never released automatically.

The tools you have
Advanced player search
Fourteen filters: position, age, height, weight, foot, gender, nationality, club, division, county, city, strengths and weaknesses, plus free text. The search covers all of Sweden at once, not just the league you happened to travel to at the weekend.
Search inside the clips
Search individual clips instead of players. Clip type and action – goal, assist, save, tackle, dribble – combined with phase of play, match context, opposition level, game format and how recently the clip was recorded.
Watchlist with your own notes
Keep the players you follow in one place, with a private note on each. The note is yours – neither the player nor any other scout sees it.
Scout Radar
Three views of what is moving right now: who other scouts are looking at, who is trending and who is viewed most. Filter by division and position, with clips, followers and watchers per player.
Ratings
Rate players in five parts, for those who accept ratings. A player can also ask you for one, and can switch the feature off at any time.
Contact requests
Send a request to the player you want to talk to. They get a notification and answer yes or no – and you see the status of everything you have sent in one place.
How we think about it
The search is the product, not the feed
Most football apps are built so that players can show themselves off. We do that too — but that part is easy. The hard part is making half a million clips searchable in a way that answers the question you actually have: a left-footed full-back born in 2009, in the fourth tier or below, who can turn the play.
That is why the work sits in the tags. Every clip carries clip type, moment, position, phase of play, match context and level of opposition. You are not searching for players and hoping — you are searching for what happens in the clip.
- Filter by 31 positions, Swedish leagues, city, age, foot, height, weight and a couple of dozen player attributes.
- Search the clips directly by action — goal, assist, save, tackle, dribble — and by phase of play and opposition level.
- Watch players with your own notes that only you can see.
- See in Scout Radar what other scouts are looking at, and who is trending right now.

What to know before you create an account
Four things that are easy to assume wrongly, and that we would rather say now than once you are inside the tool:
- You do not see every player. If the player is under 18 their profile is invisible to you until they switch visibility on themselves — and it starts switched off. That is not a setting we can open on your behalf.
- We never hand over contact details. An accepted contact request opens a dialogue, but there is no chat in the app and no email address changes hands automatically.
- The tools sit behind premium. Creating an account and getting verified costs nothing, but search, clip search, the watchlist and Scout Radar cost 199 SEK a month. We would rather say that now than when you are standing in front of a locked page.
- There are no match statistics. No goals, no assists, no tables. What you have is the clips, how they perform, the tags on them, and the ratings others have given.
And one more, chosen deliberately: the player sees you too. Your visit shows up in their statistics, and anyone you add to a watchlist is notified about it. Transparency both ways, or not at all.

Questions scouts ask
No. A player with a private account is visible to you only if the player has chosen to be visible to scouts, or if the player follows you. The app is used from age 13, and special safeguards apply to players under 18 — visibility is off until the player turns it on themselves.
A document showing your role: a coaching licence, club ID, letter of employment or equivalent. A person here reviews it before the account opens.
The player gets a notification and can accept or decline. Accepting opens the conversation. We never release a player's contact details automatically.
Yes. Players can see that scouts and trainers have visited their profile, and are notified when they are added to a watchlist. That is a deliberate choice — openness in both directions.
Only players, and only those who accept ratings. The player can turn it off at any time.
Creating an account and getting verified costs nothing. The scout tools – search, clip search, the watchlist and Scout Radar – cost 199 SEK a month.
