For you who are under 18

§What we save about you — and why

• Your name, email or mobile number and password: so you can sign in and the account is yours.
• Your date of birth: to check you are at least 13, and to give you extra protection until you turn 18. You cannot change it yourself afterwards — that is on purpose, so nobody can pretend to be older.
• Your clips and your profile: that is the whole point of the app. Everything beyond name and date of birth is optional.
• Points, levels and streaks: so you can see how you develop. Only you see the history behind the points.
• Technical info about your phone when something crashes: so we can fix the bug. The crash report is not linked to your account.
• If you visit our website breakoutsports.se you get asked whether we may count visits. If you say yes, we measure that someone read a page — not who you are, and never for advertising. If you say no, nothing at all happens, and the site works just as well. This applies only to the website, never the app.

We never sell your data, and there is no advertising in the app. We build no ad profile of you.

§Who sees what?

• Your account is private from the start. Then only followers you approved, your parent (if they linked their account to yours) and the coach of a team you are on see your clips — plus scouts and coaches if you switch that on yourself (see below). In the Latest and Popular feeds they only show for your followers and your parent.
• Scouts and trainers outside your teams cannot find you until you switch it on in settings — not even if you make the account public. Then they can only see your clips in the feeds, like everyone else. It is off from the start — you decide.
• The coach of a team you joined yourself sees how many people watched and reacted to your clips and how many scouts opened your profile — never who.
• Want scouts to see you? Turn on “Visible to scouts”. Reviewed scouts can then find you in search, see your clips and get them suggested in their Home feed. You can change your mind at any time.
• Your exact location is never shown to others. If you have made your account public, others in the same town or region can see that you are near them — under “Players near you” and in the Home feed, where it says “Near you in …”. With a private account that never happens.
• The Home feed picks clips for you based on what is in your profile and what you have watched, for example your position, town and age. When there is a reason, it is shown under the clip. It is never used for advertising.
• From 21 October 2026 you can apply for a blue check next to your name. It shows you are a real player — not how good you are. To give it, we check that your name, age and club are right and that the clips show you, by looking at what is already in the app: your teams, whether a coach has you on their team and whether a parent is linked to your account. The check shows next to your name, but not to anyone who may not open your private profile. If you change your name or club, it goes away. Applying is optional.
• From the same date you can share your player CV as an image, for example in a story. The image is made on your phone and we do not save it. It shows your name, profile picture, position, club, level and a few figures from your profile — never your age, town or weight. Remember that everyone who sees what you share sees the image, even if your account is private.
• From 28 October 2026 a teammate or coach who uploaded a clip can tag you in it, if you are on their team. You get a question and decide for yourself — your parent does not have to say yes. Only once you have said yes does the clip show under Match clips on your profile, and with a private account only to those you have let in. If you say no you cannot be tagged in that clip again, and you can remove a yes whenever you like. The clip itself does not show that you are tagged.
• Links to clips outside the app do not work for accounts under 18 — your clips cannot be shared out on the web that way.
• Every uploaded clip is screened automatically before it is shown, to stop inappropriate content. If something is flagged, a human looks at it.

§Your parents

A parent or guardian can link their account to yours. They can then pause your account for a while, say yes or no to tryouts if you are under 15, and ask us to delete the account. They also see your clips, even if your account is private. From 21 October 2026 they are told when a scout or coach sends you a contact request — who it is from, not what it says. You are the one who answers. If you accept, you choose whether the scout or coach may see your email or mobile number. Only share if you feel safe. If you share something, your parent is told what and with whom, and if you share nothing, your parent is asked whether they want to share theirs. They cannot read your messages. From the same date a parent can also create your account for you. If they did, they can set a new password if you forget yours — you always get a message when that happens, and then you choose your own again. Use the app with your parents’ knowledge — and do go through the settings together with them.

§Your rights

• You can get everything we have saved about you at any time: Settings → Export my data.
• You can delete the account yourself in the app. After 30 days everything is truly gone — clips, comments, all of it. Change your mind within 30 days and just sign in again.
• Something wrong? Fix it in your profile, or email us.
• If you think we are doing something wrong you can complain to the Swedish authority IMY (imy.se). You always have that right.
